Another simple ways to lessen stretch marks is to use lemon juice. Lemon juice is naturally acidic which helps heal and reduce stretch marks, skin injuries, acne, and other scars.
Rub fresh lemon juice gently onto the stretch marks using circular motions. Allow the lemon juice to soak into your skin for at least 10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
Another option is to mix equal quantities of cucumber juice and lemon juice and apply the mixture on the stretch marks.

Water:
Keeping your body well hydrated helps protect the skin from many kinds of problems. Well-hydrated skin results in regular detoxification of skin pores and restores elasticity, which will help a lot in getting rid of stretch marks. Try to drink one to two glasses of water several times during a day. Experts say a minimum of 10 glasses of water per day is the best way to keep the body hydrated. It will also make your skin soft and help maintain its elasticity. It is advisable to avoid coffee, tea or soda as they can cause dehydration.

Nutritious Diet:
The adequate and uninterrupted supply of nutrition to the body is of great eminence. It is recommended to include ample vitamins A, C and E in the diet chart. These vitamins endow skin with optimum elasticity and at the same time provide nutrients for skincare. Fresh fruit, vegetables, almonds, fish and eggs are some example of vitamin-rich food items

DIY : 6 Natural Lip Balm Recipes

It’s easy and inexpensive to make your own moisturizing lip balm from natural ingredients.
You need only two ingredients for the most basic product: a little beeswax and a good-quality oil.
The oil and wax together seal in moisture; the beeswax (which contains healing anti-inflammatory and antibiotic compounds) stiffens the product.

LUSCIOUS LAVENDER LIP BALM RECIPE:

Ingredients:
4 Tbsp jojoba, almond, or olive oil
1 Tbsp grated beeswax or beeswax pearls
1 tsp honey
1/4 tsp vitamin E oil (or 3 punctured, squeezed out liquid vitamin E capsules)
7 drops lavender essential oil (or other essential oil)
1 tsp cocoa powder (optional)
1 tsp colored, natural lipstick (optional, if you want it to have a hint of color)

Method:
Warm the oils, beeswax and honey in a small, stainless steel pot or bowl. Be sure to warm it on VERY low heat. (You can use a double boiler, if you’d like.) Stir until the beeswax is completely melted. Remove from heat and quickly whisk in the essential oil, vitamin E, cocoa powder, and colored lipstick. Place the bottom of the bowl into a shallow pan of ice water and continue whisking quickly as you add the honey. Once the honey is incorporated, quickly transfer the balm into your lip balm container (tube or tin) and allow to set for 3 hours.

COCO - ROSEY LIP BALM RECIPE:

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp coconut oil
1 Tbsp grated cocoa butter
1 Tbsp dried rosebuds (or any dried flower, green tea, etc.)
1/4 tsp vitamin E oil (or 3 punctured, squeezed out vitamin E capsules)
3 drops rose essential oil (optional, or substitute lavender, vanilla, or sweet orange)

Method:
On very low heat, melt the coconut oil in a small stainless steel bowl or pot. After the oil is liquid, add your roses (or other dried flowers) and stir well. Allow to steep (again, on very low heat) for 1 hour. Strain oil into a bowl through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth. Wipe out your original heating pot/bowl, pour oil back in, and return to heat. Add cocoa butter and stir until melted. Remove from heat, add vitamin E oil and essential oil and stir well. Transfer to a small container and let set for 3 hours (or until completely set).

GLOSSY LIP BALM RECIPE:

Ingredients:

2 oz. + 1 heaping Tablespoon Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
1.5 tsp vitamin E Essential Oil
2 oz Cosmetic Grade Beeswax
Plastic Lip Balm Containers
Optional: 25 drops vanilla essential oil or peppermint essential oil (or whatever scent you prefer, just make sure to use an essential oil for fragrance)
Optional: A slice of your favorite colored lip stick if you’d like to add a slight tint to the balm.

Method:
1. Place coconut oil, beeswax, and vitamin E oil into a glass measuring cup. The vitamin E will act as a moisturizer and preservative, the coconut oil is our moisturizer, and the beeswax will hold everything together.
2. Take a pan and fill it about half way with water and bring it to a boil. Once the water is at a slight boil, place your glass measuring cup into the water to melt the oils. After all of the oils are melted together, the beeswax will take the longest, you should have a nice golden liquid.
3. While your balm is still over the heat add either a vanilla essential oil or peppermint essential oil scent to it using essential oils. Once the balm is scented & flavored to your liking, carefully pour it into your containers and allow to cool fully.

SHEA BUTTER LIP BALM RECIPE:

1 tablespoon Organic Shea Butter
3 tablespoons Organic Sunflower Oil

Melt all the ingredients in double boiler .It will take 5 minutes or so on low to medium heat.
Pour directly from the pan into your tubes or tins and it will harden in about 5 minutes. Done!

OILY LIP BALM RECIPE:

Ingredients:
1 tsp. coconut oil
1 tsp. almond oil
½ tsp. grated beeswax

Method:
Combine all the ingredients in a microwave-safe container and pop it in the microwave. In 1-2 minutes, the beeswax should melt, and that's it! You just made your own lip balm.If you want to get a little fancy... You can add a bit of your favorite lipstick for extra color by stirring a dab in with the heated mixture

1/2 Tbsp shea butter
1/2 Tbsp cocoa butter
1/2 tsp honey
1 tsp cocoa powder
1/8 tsp vitamin E oil (or 2 punctured, squeezed out vitamin E capsules)
3 drops peppermint essential oil

Method:
Place the shea and cocoa butters in a small pot or double boiler, and add the coconut oil. Heat over VERY low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Try not to let the mixture go over 175 degrees, or the shea butter could end up a little gritty.) Add the beeswax and stir well. After the beeswax has completely melted, remove the mixture from the heat and add the essential oil, honey, vitamin E, and cocoa powder, whisking well the whole time. After everything is incorporated and smooth, transfer to a lip balm tube or tin and allow to set for 3 hours.

Liquid Glycerin is a by-product of soap making, and can be found at health food stores. Its also readily available on the internet as well. Do a patch test to be certain you can tolerate the glycerin, if you find you have sensitivities. In addition, consider substituting all honey. It never spoils, and makes a good long-term scrub which may be stored.

Ingredients :

1 cup fine loose salt or loose sugar
3 teaspoons liquid glycerin
1 teaspoon pure honey
3-5 drops of your favorite essential oil
Optional: Pinch of lavender blossoms (available in the bulk department of good health food stores), or chamomile, or dried herbs of your choice, chopped exceedingly fine.

Preparation
Mix ingredients well and store in an airtight container.
Add more liquid ingredients if you prefer a thinner end-product.
Stir thoroughly before use.
This keeps very well, and in fact, the honey acts as preservative.
Use small amounts when scrubbing the nose, being careful not to irritate or get it in the eyes.
