Amazing Skin Care Tips for Fall Season

Change of Seasons also changes our skin appearance and looks. Autumn has popped up and it's time to get ready for a cooler weather. Usage of heating indoors makes the skin dry and hard sun rays in outdoors burns the skin.

Shake up your beauty regimen with these simple beauty tips for this fall season.


1. To prevent skin from drying, Prepare a mask of 2 Tbs cooked pumpkin and 1 Tbs honey. Apply it all over your face and leave for about 10-15 minutes before washing off. This is a nourishing face mask which helps in moisturizing the skin.

2. Exfoliate dry, flaky skin with two tablespoons of mashed berries, 1 tablespoon of fine brown sugar and natural yogurt.Do this 1-2 times a week.

3. Apply Mashed banana to the face and neck for 10 minutes. Banana works as an anti-aging agent and thus helps to retain the skin's elasticity.

4. Prepare a body scrub from 1/2 cup cooked, pureed pumpkin and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Apply to your body using gentle, circular motions and then rinse off with warm water.

5.Moisturize nails and hands with a thick natural moisturizer. Sesame oil is wonderful, you need just a few teaspoonfuls. Add a few drops of tea tree oil to help keep harmful bacteria away.

6. Hair tends to fall more during this season. Condition your scalp to strengthen fine, new hairs right at the beginning of their growth period.Oiling the hair and scalp is probably the best way to naturally condition them.

7. During Fall season, eyes tend to get infected with allergies. Washing your eyes with ghee provides cooling, soothing and moisturizing effect. Fill an eye cup with with ghee, hold it over your eye and slowly open your eye into it to bathe it completely. Your vision will be a little bleary right after you wash your eyes, so this might be a good thing to do at night before you sleep.

8.  The blow drier is not your friend in winter.Hot air dries out your scalp and can irritate your skin as well. So give the blow drier a miss this cold season.

9. Protect your lips. Start moisturizing now to prevent dry, cracked lips this winter. Use a non-petroleum based lip balm for best results.

10. Hydrate yourself by drinking lots of water. Eat fresh fruits & vegetables to maintain your beauty in this fall season.
